What the Bible says about judging
Dr. Henry Brandt held a Ph.D. in the field of psychology. He was the first of his kind to hold the theories of psychology to the test of Scripture. In so doing, Brandt developed a ministry for applying biblical principles to the practical problems of life. In the process, he revolutionized the field of Christian counseling. His first profession was as an engineer at the Chrysler plant in Detroit, Michigan, where Henry became a Christian. Sometime after becoming a Christian, one of the engineers at the office began telling Henry about the many problems he and his wife of 25 years were having. Brandt replied, “The Bible has the answers to the issues of life. Next, the man asked what the Bible said about a man being angry in his own home. Brandt told his coworker he would go home and study the Bible to see what it said on the subject. That night, he got out his Bible, concordance, and Bible dictionary and looked for the next four hours to find the answer. After sharing what he learned with his coworker, the person asked how he could overcome his anger. So Brandt applied the same process of looking to the Holy Spirit-inspired message to mankind known as the Bible. During the next five years, many men were transformed in their personal lives and improved interpersonal relationships both at work and at home.
